Buffets are a practical way to treat a group of friends or family for a meal, because of their fixed prices and the variety of food choices. My birthday was coming up, and I thought the best way to celebrate it was to treat my family and a few close friends.

The Food Club is one of the buffet places I enjoy the most, as it is not so overwhelming like the others. The buffets have too many choices; you don’t even know where to start or what to eat. The Food Club has everyone’s favorite choices of food, found at the Asian-Chinese and Western kitchen station. They also have a cold kitchen section, as well as a dessert and bar section. This is pretty much all the best cuisines you need to fatten up your tummy.

My favorite was the cold kitchen station because I am a sucker for cheese, salads, and sushi. Most of my family went for the Asian food, and I could see it was all worth it. They kept on thanking me for taking them here.

Buffet Perfect for Asian Food Lovers!

My mom and I have been close ever since I was a kid. And unlike others, we’ve never lost that connection. In fact, she has done so much for my husband and me. She’s the first person we can depend on whenever we need someone to look after our kids. We are so lucky to have her around!

Who Says No to Meat at Tony Roma’s?

I’ve heard good reviews about the ribs at Tony Roma’s, so I had to check it out and see for myself. I love trying new foods and never hesitate to spend a little. MetroDeal, however, had a great discount so I availed two, one for me and one for my boyfriend.

I ordered the salmon piccata, which is a grilled salmon in a creamy lemon caper sauce. It was the best decision I’ve ever made on food despite the price! Nevertheless, it was totally worth it especially since salmon can be a bit costly!

On the other hand, my boyfriend ordered half of the original baby back ribs and he loved it so much as well. He said that all of our friends were right, as it did taste good!

We’ll be going back here again to try other foods or maybe the same. Aside from the food, we also enjoyed its ambiance. We’re also hoping that MetroDeal will have more promos for Tony Roma’s to be able to eat on a budget!

Weekend Well Spent at Richmonde Hotel Ortigas

Everyone loves a staycation every now and then. In fact, I just had a good one with my parents at Richmonde Hotel Ortigas last weekend. Thanks to MetroDeal for the amazing discount!

It was our first time to visit Richmonde Hotel, and it did not disappoint. We loved everything about it—from their room, food, gym, and indoor swimming pool, Wi-Fi, security, and so much more. But my favorite part of our staycation was the indoor swimming pool since I was able to swim at any time of the day without worrying about the scorching heat of the sun.

Although it was just a night in the hotel, it was still a refreshing experience, as the three of us got to spend a weekend away from doing house chores and just do whatever we like. It’s as if we went out of town but in fact, we were just an hour away from our home!

There are two things I check when looking for a new steakhouse: lean meat cooked to perfection, and ultra-fast free Wi-Fi (hey, don't judge!).

So when I heard that Outback Steakhouse in Makati has both, I carved an opening in my schedule. Luckily, I also bought a gift certificate worth P500 for 35% off on Metrodeal, so I gave it a shot.

The steak is perfect. It also goes perfect with rice, so that’s a big bonus for a rice-loving guy like me. The place has a cozy ambiance, and the staff was friendly and very accommodating. It’s an okay spot for couples looking to have a casual date night over the weekend.
