Whenever I travel, I make sure that I bring accessories that can help make my trip hassle-free. Things like zip lock bags, travel adaptors, etc. fill up one portion of my luggage space. So, imagine my joy when I saw that these mesh shower hangers exist!

Whenever I shower now in hotels, hostels, dorms, or any bathroom that’s not in my home, I can conveniently place my soaps, shampoos, and clothes in these neat pouches and hang or store them without fear that they’ll get dirty or wet. It’s not waterproof, but at least they’re all bundled up in one pouch that you can easily reach into!

I went to see a friend last month. I told him about the recent break-ins in our dorm and how another student’s cellphone got stolen. We’re trying to have a healthier diet at home, so lately we love steamed food instead of fried. We already have an electric steamer made of plastic, but I wanted a steamer that I can use for a wider variety of dishes.

The size is just right and I can use it on a gas stove or induction cooker. Because it has three layers, it allows me to steam more than one dish. Steamed fish at the bottom and dumplings or veggies on top. When I’m cooking less, I just remove the topmost layer.

It’s made of lightweight material, so I don’t think it would be too durable. Hopefully, it will last years! The handles also get really hot, so you need to use pot holders. At Php799, I’d say I got my money’s worth!

The discount MetroDeal offered is great because we’re a huge family. So, a 20% discount means a lot, especially since it was my treat. We called a week in advance and made reservations to redeem our voucher, so the table was waiting for us when we got there, even if there were a lot of people waiting in line.

We love the food at Tenka! They serve unlimited meat and soup, but you have to order it from the servers. You can get appetizers, salads, and desserts from the buffet table freely. The meat they served is obviously high-quality, unlike the extremely thin slices of meat you normally encounter at other Asian all-you-can-eat restaurants.

My personal favorite is their US beef. They also serve seafood including shrimps, salmon head, salmon sashimi, octopus, and more! For me, this restaurant is perfect if you want to satisfy a shabu-shabu craving.

The ambiance is pretty dark, but it’s traditional Japanese style, so it helped to make you feel like you’re eating authentic Japanese hotpot.

The only downside to this restaurant is the poor staff service. But, other than that, I would recommend this restaurant, especially for families celebrating a birthday because birthday celebrants eat free!
