You know that thing you didn’t think you were missing in the house? This is it. This is the one. It’s such a functional piece in the living room that I don’t know why it took so long for me to get one. I love wearing jackets and cardigans, and this helps me remember where I place them. It’s also not just good for clothes but for my keys, too! We always have a hard time looking for our car keys or house keys and having that rack near the entrance of the house is convenient.

We’re trying to have a healthier diet at home, so lately we love steamed food instead of fried. We already have an electric steamer made of plastic, but I wanted a steamer that I can use for a wider variety of dishes.

But, finding quality but affordable cookware isn’t easy. This stainless-steel steam pot on Metrodeal is perfect for my family. The size is just right and I can use it on a gas stove or induction cooker. Because it has three layers, it allows me to steam more than one dish. Steamed fish at the bottom and dumplings or veggies on top. When I’m cooking less, I just remove the topmost layer.

It’s made of lightweight material, so I don’t think it would be too durable. Hopefully, it will last years! The handles also get really hot, so you need to use pot holders. At Php799, I’d say I got my money’s worth!

Getting diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 24 really opened my eyes to the importance of my health. Since I wasn’t going to allow my condition to ruin my life, I decided to push myself to live a healthier lifestyle.

My husband booked us a flight to Palawan for our 5th wedding anniversary, but of course, our 1-year old daughter is coming with us. I’m one of those people who tend to bring everything they think they need with them. My partner gets so frustrated because the car ends up looking like a cluttered dresser, with facial tissues, wet wipes, water bottles, planner, pens, books, and even some extra shirts just sitting on the backseat.

No More Broken Umbrellas from Strong Winds

I’ve lost count of the number of umbrellas I’ve thrown away after an intense battle versus strong winds from typhoons during the monsoon season. So, I’ve decided to completely give up on them until a good friend of mine lent me her magic windproof folding umbrella one stormy evening.

With the strong winds outside, I told her she might have to buy a new one after I was done with it, but she just gave me a confident nod and escorted me to the door.

As soon as I stepped outside, I became doubtful about the umbrella’s structural integrity. I’ve been in the same situation many times with a regular folding umbrella, and the outcome was the same: I came home drenched. Surprisingly, it wasn’t the case with the magic umbrella.

Call it an addiction, but I use my smartphone a lot more than the average millennial. I just can’t stand being idle while stuck in the Metro Manila traffic!

And lately, my phone, which I’ve been using for two years, can’t really keep up with me anymore. Like, what’s worse than being halfway into the latest episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race and running out of juice???

Online shopping is addicting, especially with all the amazing discounts. E-commerce sites are hard to resist, and sometimes, you buy more than you need.

One of my favorite sites is Metrodeal. I’ve been a loyal buyer for a year now because there are so many items and services to choose from—for discounted prices!

The other day, I came across a Kingone F8 Red Multifunctional Stereo Bluetooth Speaker. I loved the color, and I was excited with the features that came with it such as surround sound and an MP3 playback function. These features were what I was looking for in a speaker.

I first used the speaker on a camping trip. My friends were impressed with the sound, saying that they were able to feel the bass, and the music was loud and clear.
